McVey Online Web Services is an independent website service based in Aberdeen, offering small businesses and projects straightforward WordPress websites, UK hosting and ongoing support. Its approach focuses on practical sites without an agency layer, with the option for clients to manage their own content or leave routine care to the provider.

Website builds typically cover around five pages, such as home, about, services and contact, with privacy and terms pages included. Shops, booking features and other additions can be quoted separately. Sites are built with WordPress and the Divi theme, allowing clients to update text and images themselves and retain the flexibility to move or update their site later. Hosting is provided on UK servers in isolated space and includes SSL; domains can remain with their current provider.

For clients who prefer not to handle updates, a yearly maintenance plan includes hosting, backups, security and downtime checks, broken-link checks, routine theme and plugin updates, and basic speed and SEO care.
