JMF-Palvelu

JMF-Palvelu is a Finnish family business specializing in the care, restoration and enhancement of grave memorials. Based in Haukivuori, it serves families in Mikkeli, Pieksämäki, across South Savo and nearby areas, typically within about 100 kilometres. With more than 25 years of experience, the company provides practical, respectful service at the cemetery, often completing work on site.

Services include cleaning and restoring gravestones, correcting stones that have tilted or sunk, strengthening their foundations, and renewing faded inscriptions through additional engraving, repainting or re-gilding with genuine gold leaf. JMF-Palvelu also sells and installs custom bronze and copper plaques, and offers new gravestones. Work is planned to respect the memorial’s existing lettering and character. The company handles necessary notices and contact with the parish before work begins. When winter conditions make outdoor work difficult, stones requiring more extensive work can be moved to warm indoor facilities. Customers receive a fixed-price offer based on the stone, location and required work, followed by confirmation and a photo of the completed result.
