José M. Requena Plens is a dedicated researcher and PhD student at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, specializing in engineering across various disciplines. With a robust academic background, he holds a BSc in Telecommunications from the University of Alicante and an MSc in Acoustics from his current institution. His expertise extends to projects with the European Space Agency, focusing on noise reduction for the VEGA rocket launch pad, and ongoing research in acoustic metamaterials at the Ultrasound Medical and Industrial Laboratory.

In his professional capacity as a Power Electronics DevOps Engineer, José is deeply involved in research and development, continuously striving to innovate in engineering fields. He’s passionate about sharing knowledge, developing accessible tools and applications that enhance research efficiency and collaboration. Additionally, José maintains an active presence on platforms like GitHub, inviting others to engage with and improve his work.

Outside of research, he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and attending rock concerts, reflecting his diverse interests and commitment to life outside academia.
