The scheme falls under the Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhattar Sanshodhit Yojana, and its primary goal is to promote higher education among economically disadvantaged students by alleviating financial barriers.

For the academic session 2026-27, this merit-based scholarship offers financial assistance across various educational levels, including 10th, 12th, and graduation. Eligible candidates can apply online for free, requiring only essential documentation such as income certificates, educational marksheets, and proofs of residence. The application process is designed to be simple and accessible, ensuring that eligible students can easily apply and receive the scholarship directly through their bank accounts. This program exemplifies the state's commitment to uplifting underprivileged communities through education and opportunity, fostering a more equitable educational landscape.
