Jochens Schwimmschule was a private swimming school in Bad Hersfeld, Germany, founded by Jochen Kornder and associated with Sylvia and Regina Kornder. Established in 1994, it provided swimming lessons primarily for children aged four and older. The school held Saturday classes in four consecutive sessions between 9:00 a.
m. and noon, at the indoor pool of the Vitalisklinik, where it had been based since December 2013. Earlier teaching locations included the Römertherme at the Kurparkhotel and the Lullustherme, followed by the pool at Seepark Kirchheim.
Across these venues, the school continued offering lessons as circumstances required it to relocate. Its courses focused on helping children learn to swim, with references to the Seepferdchen swimming certificate indicating an emphasis on beginner-level skills. The website now announces that the school has ceased operations and is no longer offering courses.
Its team thanks the families who took part in lessons over the years
