The Joe Carter Classic is an annual charity golf event founded around the legacy of Joe Carter, the Toronto Blue Jays player remembered for hitting the World Series-winning home run in 1993. It brings avid golfers together with well-known guests from sports and entertainment for golf, receptions and related activities. The event’s 18th annual edition is scheduled for June 8–9, 2027, at Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ontario.
Past programs have included a celebrity golf competition, a shotgun-start tournament, meals, a welcome reception and a Toronto Blue Jays game. The Classic supports Canadian youth education and development through the Joe Carter Scholarship Fund and the Joe Carter Family Support Fund. Since 2010, it has raised and pledged millions of dollars to benefit the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada.
The organization invites individuals and businesses to support the event; inquiries about supporting the Joe Carter Classic can be directed to its listed contact email. Its annual tournament combines celebrity participation and fundraising in support of youth and families across Canada
