Joensuun Pursiseura

Joensuu Sailing Club (Joensuun Pursiseura ry) is a community sailing and boating association based in Joensuu, Finland. Guided by the spirit of enjoying sailing together, the club supports members and newcomers through practical instruction, boating information and a varied programme of events. Beginners can try sailing in Zoom8 dinghies, with instruction and opportunities to build confidence on the water. The club also arranges regattas, including the Ossi Ronkainen cruising competition, and social gatherings such as fishing contests and seasonal celebrations at its Lapaliko island base.

Member services and activities include boat inspections, safety guidance, shared arrangements for launching and hauling boats, and maintenance and volunteer work at club locations.
