John Hughes Group is Australia's largest single-location motor vehicle retailer, offering a wide range of products and services. With eight new car brands and a massive pre-owned vehicle operation, they cater to all automotive needs. Established by John Hughes, the company has grown to become one of Australia's most successful automotive businesses.
John's journey began with humble beginnings and a strong desire to succeed. Starting as a clerk in a car dealership, he later became the General Manager of Attwoods Motorama, the largest used car organization in Western Australia. In 1969, he took a bold step and started his own business, Paramotors.
Despite the challenges, his hard work and determination paid off, and his empire expanded. Today, John Hughes Group boasts franchises for Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Ford, Kia, Jeep, MG, and LDV, all located in Victoria Park. They employ over 500 staff and sell approximately 15,000 cars annually.
