John Hyam Racing

John Hyam Racing is an Adelaide-based thoroughbred training operation led by trainer John Hyam. Established in 2009 and based at Morphettville since 2012, the stable prepares racehorses for competition across South Australia and beyond. John combines experience, adaptable training methods and careful race placement, with a focus on each horse’s wellbeing and individual needs. His record includes a Group 3 Breeders Stakes win, Melbourne winners and an average of 25 winners per season since he began training.

The stable welcomes inquiries from prospective racehorse owners and offers the opportunity to have a horse trained by John. Owners are kept informed about their horse’s progress and can follow stable activities through the interactive website, which also features horses available, runners and results, photos, videos and news.

John Hyam Racing is based at Morphettville and provides facilities including large boxes, a horse walking machine, a high-speed galloping treadmill and a salt room. Horses also have access to the Morphettville track, swimming pool, water walker, grass tracks, Pro Ride track and sand tracks.
