Johnston Funeral Directors

Johnston Funeral Directors is a family-run funeral service based in Kilkenny, providing compassionate, professional support to individuals and families before, during, and after a funeral. Led by funeral director Sammy Johnston, the business places emphasis on personal care, dignity, respect, and attention to detail, helping families arrange a meaningful farewell for their loved one.

Its services include funeral planning, burial and cremation arrangements, and guidance throughout the organising process. For those wishing to prepare in advance, Johnston Funeral Directors offers funeral pre-planning support to help record personal wishes and ease future decisions for family members. The team also provides practical after-funeral guidance and support, and shares funeral notices and information about leaving condolences.

Families can gather and pay their respects at the purpose-built funeral home on John’s Green in Kilkenny, designed to offer a peaceful and private setting. The business also has an office and showroom at The Arches on Barrack Street. Johnston Funeral Directors serves families with care and guidance at every stage.
