Ajax is an AI timekeeping platform designed for law firms. It tracks work across applications, documents, emails, browser activity, phone calls, calendars, and video meetings, then groups related tasks by matter. Using this activity, Ajax drafts detailed, client-ready time entries and selects relevant matters and activity codes. Firms can tailor entries to their billing preferences, while the system learns from edits to better reflect each user’s voice and client requirements.

The platform also helps firms apply outside counsel guidelines. Users can upload guideline documents, review the rules Ajax extracts, and have approved requirements applied to entries. Lawyers can review and edit draft entries before releasing them to their billing system with a single click.

Ajax integrates with billing platforms including Clio, MyCase, Filevine, PracticePanther, SurePoint, Centerbase, Actionstep, Soluno, and Orion, and says it works with most other billing systems. The company reports that firms using Ajax capture 12% more billable hours, and that well over 90% of firms completing a pilot subscribe.
