CapitalX by Inc42 is a live, virtual four-week programme designed to teach the science of venture capital and help participants learn how to build and manage a VC fund. It brings together experienced investors and industry leaders to share practical knowledge drawn from investing in Indian startups. The curriculum covers the full fund journey, including developing an investment thesis, raising capital from limited partners (LPs), structuring a fund, building and managing a startup portfolio, operating the fund, and reporting to LPs. Participants also explore legal, accounting, governance, tax and regulatory considerations, as well as finding, evaluating and exiting startup investments.

The programme features more than 15 live sessions, over 20 speakers and a peer group of emerging VCs, angel investors, entrepreneurs and executive leaders. It includes networking opportunities and a session to present a fund thesis to LPs and receive feedback. CapitalX is intended for people pursuing or advancing roles in venture capital, along with entrepreneurs, angel investors, family office representatives, corporate leaders and asset managers interested in launching or improving a fund. It also offers access to Inc42’s AngelX network of more than 60 angel investors.
