About Meem
Meem is a Muslim community app designed to bring people together around everyday interests and halal living. Available now on Google Play for Android, it offers Circles for topics such as halal food, modest fashion, travel and finance, where members can share reviews, take part in polls and exchange recommendations. Its Majlis spaces host community discussions, with no direct messages by design.
Members earn Meems for contributions such as writing reviews, answering polls and helping others. These points can be redeemed for halal deals, gift cards or donations to vetted charities; acts of worship are never gamified. The app also includes free prayer times, Qibla direction and reminders, with prayer tools available offline.
Meem says it shows no ads and does not sell personal data. Instead, it funds rewards through ethical brand research, sharing only anonymous, aggregated community insights with participating brands. Membership is free, and the company says its faith tools will remain free.
An iOS version is forthcoming, with email notifications available for interested users
