Paira

Paira is a Detroit-based dating app designed to make first dates more comfortable and social through double dating. Available for iPhone on the Apple App Store, the app lets people browse and match using individual profiles, then add a trusted friend or connect with someone seeking a wingmate. When two compatible pairs match, Paira brings them together in an automated group chat to introduce themselves and plan a meetup. The service is currently focused on Detroit and the surrounding metro area, with expansion to other Midwest cities based on demand; an Android version is planned.

Paira also helps users turn matches into in-person plans through local events, Two’s-Day dinner matches, and offers from Partner venues. Its Sparks feature provides promotional credits that eligible subscribers and promotions can offer, redeemable for active offers from participating businesses. Sparks have no cash value and are not sold separately. For restaurants and activity venues, Paira offers partnership opportunities to present offers to local users.
