Jom Ha Voetbal

Jom Ha Voetbal is a long-running annual football tournament and family sports day in the Netherlands, bringing people of all ages together for more than 40 years. Its 2026 event was the 45th edition, held at AFC, and welcomed nearly 2,000 visitors. The tournament featured 54 teams, 128 matches and 553 players aged from four to 79, reflecting the event’s inclusive, community-focused spirit.

Alongside football, Jom Ha Voetbal offers activities and entertainment for participants and visitors. The 2026 program included the first Richard Witschge Keep-Ups Trophy for players under 16, a bridge tournament, children’s activities, Israeli music, food stalls and a closing barbecue. The organization also shares event photos and an aftermovie, and publishes tournament categories, rules, past winners and news.

Jom Ha Voetbal is organized by volunteers, with preparations involving permits, sponsorship, scheduling and event-day facilities. The organization welcomes people who would like to volunteer, whether throughout the year or on the day itself.
