Jon Salmon is a mental health campaigner, speaker and entrepreneur who works to make conversations about mental illness more open and understanding. Drawing on his personal experience of stress and depression, and the loss of his father to suicide and a close friend to postnatal depression, Jon speaks about the value of seeking help and the importance of challenging stigma. After keeping his own experience private for nearly 20 years, he chose to speak publicly at the launch of the Heads Together mental health campaign, alongside the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.
Jon regularly speaks at colleges, events and organisations, sharing his story and encouraging people to talk about mental health. His website also features videos, blog posts and information about mental health initiatives and the charities and social enterprises he supports. Alongside his campaigning, Jon has created an award-winning production studio and co-founded Byte Entertainment, a branded entertainment agency.
