The Jona Viskorf Stiftung is a charitable foundation established in November 2012 by the Viskorf and Philipp families in memory of Jona. Its mission is to ease the suffering caused by childhood cancer and help children and their families find more joy and support during treatment. The foundation provides direct assistance to children with cancer and their families as they manage the challenges of everyday life.
It also supports improvements to pediatric oncology wards, helping make long hospital stays more welcoming and engaging. In addition, the foundation works with palliative care centers and teams to improve comfort for children nearing the end of life. A particular priority is fulfilling the wishes of seriously ill children, with the aim of making them happen within 24 hours.
Its supported initiatives include activities such as cooking together on hospital wards and sport therapy for children and young people before, during, and after cancer treatment. The foundation invites donations to support its work and states that every donation goes entirely to children with cancer
