Jong en Jeugd

Jong en Jeugd provides specialist day care and family support in Amsterdam Zuidoost, primarily for children aged 4 to 14 whose development or upbringing is affected by serious difficulties, or who need additional attention and relief from a stressful home situation. Services include specialist day care, support for primary-school children unable to attend school, time-out care to help prevent situations from escalating, preventive overnight stays, supervised practice sessions, and transport to and from care. The organisation also offers tailored plans for children and their families or support networks, parenting assistance, conversations and telephone consultations, and additional guidance when needed. Its programme includes educational activities that encourage children’s strengths, as well as workshops and sports activities shaped with their input.
