JongKFPS

JongKFPS is an association for enthusiasts of the Friesian horse, designed for young people aged 16 to 35. It helps members deepen their knowledge and experience in the horse’s sport and breeding, while bringing people together around a shared interest. Knowledge-sharing and networking are central to the organisation’s work.

Throughout the year, JongKFPS holds monthly activities across the Netherlands. These include stable visits, sport and clinic days, webinars, and informative or discussion evenings, with subjects spanning sport, breeding and horse welfare. The programme gives participants opportunities to learn through practical activities and connect with others who care about Friesian horses. The association also shares news and event information, and offers access to breeding coaches, member benefits and a WhatsApp community.

JongKFPS invites interested enthusiasts to join as members or friends, and provides opportunities for sponsors and volunteers to support its activities. By combining education, social connection and accessible events, the association aims to help a new generation develop its involvement in the Friesian horse community.
