JCE

JCE is a content editor for Joomla! designed to help users create and manage engaging, richly formatted content. Developed by Widget Factory (Pty) Ltd, it offers a familiar, customizable interface with tools for both everyday editing and more advanced content creation.

JCE Core provides essential features, including image uploads and management, drag-and-drop uploading, interactive resizing, links to Joomla! content and other destinations, media support, and standard tools for tables, styles, and lists. Its profile settings let administrators tailor the editor’s layout and features for different user groups, users, devices, or components.

JCE Pro adds professional tools such as image editing, resizing, thumbnails and watermarks, media management with support for common audio and video formats, responsive column layouts, styled image captions, a source code editor, and Markdown support. It also includes extensions such as an extended image manager, iframe support, a template manager, and microdata tools.

JCE Core is available free, while JCE Pro is offered through an annual subscription that includes unlimited site use and forum-based support.
