Joram Raaijmaakers

Joram Raaijmaakers Artworks is the fine art practice of artist Joram Raaijmaakers, who creates carefully crafted paintings exploring the relationships between classic and modern design. His work focuses on precision, continuity and enduring visual qualities, using patient painting and drawing to make time, attention and craftsmanship tangible.

A central offering is bespoke automotive art. Working closely with each client, Raaijmaakers creates hand-painted oil portraits of cars that reflect not only their design and character but also the memories and personal meaning they hold for their owner. Personal elements can be incorporated into each commission, resulting in a unique artwork made exclusively for one owner. His subjects include iconic marques such as Ferrari, Aston Martin, McLaren and Porsche.

Alongside commissioned paintings, Raaijmaakers develops independent projects that investigate automotive design across generations. His Family Genes series brings different models and brands together in paired works, using details of their forms to explore kinship, evolution and identity. The practice offers collectors and clients a thoughtful, enduring tribute to the cars they value.
