Jordmor

Jordmor, founded by midwife Sanne Kragh Hovgaard, provides private, holistic support for women and couples before pregnancy, during pregnancy, after birth and throughout family life. An authorised midwife with more than 15 years of experience, Sanne combines her midwifery background and training in acupuncture with a whole-person approach that draws on both Western medicine and an understanding of the body, nature and its rhythms.

Services include conversations about fertility treatment, pregnancy choices and previous pregnancy loss; pregnancy support and birth preparation; postpartum consultations and support during the transition to parenthood; and conversations about experiences from earlier births or involuntary childlessness. Jordmor also offers guidance for couples with children, helping partners address intimacy, communication and the pressures of family life. Support is available individually or with a partner.

In addition to private consultations, Sanne gives talks and teaches on health, cycles and self-leadership for schools, associations and workplaces. Her work aims to offer a calm, professional space where clients can explore their needs and find greater confidence, connection and wellbeing.
