The Josephson Institute of Ethics is a nonpartisan, nonsectarian nonprofit working to strengthen ethical commitment, competence, and conduct across society. Its programs serve young people, athletes, businesses, public leaders, and law enforcement professionals, with the goal of helping individuals and organizations make sound decisions and build trust.
For schools and youth programs, the Institute offers student development resources designed to complement existing curricula and initiatives. Its CHARACTER COUNTS! sports program equips coaches and parents to promote sportsmanship and character. Businesses can access consulting, training, and keynote presentations focused on workplace integrity, risk management, and sustainable ethical cultures. The Institute also provides seminars and consulting for public service leaders, as well as ethics training for police officers and administrators.
Additional offerings include educational resources, decision-making guidance, and materials available in Spanish. The Institute collaborates with organizations and individuals across different fields. It is supported through donations, grants, service fees and contributions, and sales of educational resources.
