Jose Platero is a product, design, and marketing technology executive whose personal brand focuses on building effective product organizations and practical AI systems. As Director of Product, Design & MarTech at Air Canada and Aeroplan, he leads an organization of more than 45 people and approaches organizational design as a product discipline, using operating models, feedback loops, and continuous improvement.

Platero shares ideas through talks, workshops, and hands-on learning. His “Build with Jose” Toronto course is designed for builders trained outside North America, helping participants create a practical job-search system using Claude Code. Rather than relying on slides alone, the session guides attendees through building a working system they can take away.

His work also explores AI operating models and automation in practice. He demonstrates systems that use research agents, knowledge archives, and automated briefings, and shares insights on product operations, martech architecture, and emerging AI tools. Through executive briefings, mentoring, and team training, Platero helps individuals and organizations turn experience and technology into useful, repeatable systems.
