Josias River Farm is a historic New England wedding and event venue in Cape Neddick, Maine. Set across 20 scenic acres, this 275-year-old farm features forests, open fields, pastures, an apple orchard, gardens, stone walls, and rail fences, creating a relaxed countryside setting with classic rustic charm. The property centers on an original antique Cape-style house and a rustic barn.

Couples can host ceremonies and larger gatherings in the open fields, with space for a tent, then use the barn for cocktails, intimate dinners, and dancing. The grounds and buildings also offer options for celebrations in changing weather and throughout a wedding weekend. Josias River Farm provides wedding and event packages, property tours, calendar information, accommodation details, and a directory of preferred vendors.

The venue’s flexible approach allows couples to choose their own vendors and shape an event around their plans. Located near beaches and a quaint town, the farm welcomes inquiries by email or phone and is booking events for the 2027 season
