JIF – Journée Internationale des Forêts is a dynamic initiative dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of forests and their ecosystems. Launched by Teragir, this program provides a platform called "La Forêt et nous," aiming to educate students and teachers about trees and forests. With resources readily available, the initiative encourages children and adults alike to engage with the natural world.

Each year, various activities such as nature walks, workshops, and artistic exhibits are organized, promoting interaction with forest environments. The program also supports educational projects in schools through "La Forêt s’invite à l’École," fostering creative and scientific exploration of forestry topics.

Since its inception in 2014, JIF has involved nearly 300,000 children and planted over 236,000 trees across France. By participating in events and implementing hands-on projects, the JIF community strives to cultivate a greater understanding of eco-sustainability, environmentally friendly practices, and the significant role of forests in our lives.
