The European Heritage Days in Wallonia invite residents and visitors to discover the region’s heritage through public events and educational activities. Each year, on the second weekend of September, the Heritage Days offer free opportunities to explore heritage sites across Wallonia. The programme also includes the Youth and Heritage Week, which welcomes school groups to discover historic places, and Heritage Exploration activities for young audiences.

Recent initiatives have included castle openings and visits for primary and secondary school classes, including general and specialised education.
