After winning a place in the prestigious Griffin Accelerator cohort, they spent three months in an intensive incubator in Canberra, Australia, where they successfully built their first prototype using Sharetribe Go. Impressed by the success of their MVP, Journey Horizon secured angel funding and set up a small team in Ho Chi Minh City to develop the open-source version of Sharetribe Go, which eventually became CycleLifeHQ. com.
With two additional rounds of VC funding, Journey Horizon expanded their services to support city governments in the USA and Australia in rolling out cycle tourism strategies. Although their vision to scale the marketplace was not fully realized, Journey Horizon formed strong relationships with the teams in Ho Chi Minh City and Sharetribe in Finland. After the closure of their previous venture, Journey Horizon was approached by Fittcoach.
ca to help them transition from Sharetribe Go to Sharetribe Flex. Taking this as an opportunity to create something amazing, Journey Horizon teamed up with Tri Nguyen, a brilliant former member of the Cyclelifehq. com tech team, and co-founded the company.
