About Journo
Journo. com. tr is a bipartisan media organization in Turkey that aims to enhance the quality of journalism practices through educational activities.
They also advocate for freedom of speech by creating spaces for unemployed or freelance journalists to publish their works. As a team, they define themselves as young, positive, bipartisan, and globally conscious journalism professionals. Their main focus is on the new media sphere and emerging digital journalism skills.
Journo. com. tr has several objectives, including creating mediascapes for professional journalists to publish their work using new production techniques not applied in conventional newsrooms.
They also aim to provide opportunities for media professionals lacking skills in the age of new media, helping them avoid precariousness caused by the shift to new broadcasting systems and technologies. Additionally, Journo. com.
tr aims to create a solidarity network among journalists to discuss and publish ideas about the future of journalism. The team at Journo. com.
tr is led by Mustafa Kuleli, the founder and editor-in-chief since 2015. Mustafa is a respected figure in Turkish journalism and has been recognized for his work in promoting fair working conditions and press freedom. Emre Kızılkaya, a project editor, brings his expertise in journalism and media sustainability to Journo.
