Jouzour Loubnan is an NGO established since 2008 (registration number 491) whose mission is to participate in the restoration of Lebanese woodland and promote sustainable reforestation. About Jouzour Loubnan
Jouzour Loubnan is a non-profit organization dedicated to the restoration of Lebanese woodland and the promotion of sustainable reforestation. Our mission is rooted in the goal of creating a greener and more sustainable future for Lebanon. At Jouzour Loubnan, we aim to plant towards sustainable forests by restoring degraded forest ecosystems, contributing to the development of the Green Corridor, fostering urban forests and agroforestry, and implementing new and effective forestry practices through research and development.
We believe in the power of community engagement and education, and strive to raise awareness on the importance of forests and biodiversity. We actively involve local communities in the protection and management of our planted forests, and encourage Lebanese residents and the diaspora to lend their support to our reforestation efforts.
