About JoWomenomics
JoWomenomics is dedicated to fostering a feminist economy in Jordan by developing the critical social, political, and economic infrastructures necessary for authentic women’s empowerment. Our mission is to advocate and conduct research for feminism in Jordan and to support women by addressing economic disenfranchisement and male-dominated power imbalances. We believe in educating and empowering young women to thrive and prosper in their communities, working to challenge outdated cultural mindsets and transform masculine-driven communities.
Our pillars include feminist policies, communities, and education, and we collaborate with the Feminist Integral Center for Research and Innovation (FICRI) to promote mind-set change and innovative policy development. Through various programs and projects, such as career counseling workshops and work ethics training, we aim to provide women with the skills and support they need to achieve economic independence.
