Joyanna Rose

Joyanna Rose Gittings is a community-based bilingual artist, teacher, and collaborator whose work celebrates the connection between handmade art and everyday life. Working as a watercolor artist and muralist, she shares her creative practice through original artwork, community activities, and teaching. Her website, joyannarose.com, presents her work, biography, mural inquiries, events, and information about available art and patronage.

Gittings also runs Obra Arts Studio and Gallery, a public-facing, flexible space in downtown Longmont’s Creative District. The bilingual studio serves as a gallery, classroom, and gathering place for local artists, encouraging creative exchange and community fellowship. Its offerings include classes and lessons, classroom rental, fine art Giclée and photography printing, and events. Visitors can explore works for sale, art merchandise, and opportunities to support the artist. The studio welcomes English- and Spanish-speaking visitors and is open Tuesday through Saturday, with hours varying by day and occasional event-related closures. Gittings also publishes Three Things, a sporadic newsletter featuring updates and information about where she will be appearing.
