Joyful Home Birth LLC

Joyful Homebirth LLC is a midwifery practice led by Carolyn Greenfield, a licensed midwife serving families across Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. Founded in September 2019, the practice supports family-centered home births and aims to honor each client’s cultural traditions, preferences, and birth choices. Carolyn has worked in birth care since 2008, beginning as a Bradley Method childbirth educator before completing midwifery training, advanced skills education, and clinical work at two high-volume birth centers. She has passed a national midwifery board examination and holds certifications in neonatal resuscitation, basic life support, and phlebotomy.

Joyful Homebirth offers midwifery care through pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period, with prenatal and postpartum home visits. Services include support for natural home birth and water birth; client accounts also describe birth-pool provision and certain prenatal tests being collected at home and sent to a laboratory. Carolyn emphasizes personalized guidance, respectful care, and continued learning. The practice invites prospective clients to book a free consultation to discuss their needs and birth options.
