JOY’S zadels is an equestrian saddle-fitting and repair business run by Joyce Kaandorp, a qualified saddle fitter and repairer based in Egmond aan den Hoef, the Netherlands. The business helps riders find practical solutions for saddle fit, horse comfort and riding-related concerns, offering advice as well as products and hands-on services.
Services include saddle inspections, with annual checks recommended and more frequent visits suggested for young horses. Joyce assesses the horse and saddle, adjusts the flocking and checks for defects. For customers seeking a new saddle, she offers new and second-hand options, tries suitable models with the horse and rider, and can arrange an order to meet individual preferences. She also provides girth advice and lets customers test different models to find a suitable match.
In her workshop, Joyce repairs saddles and tack by hand, including girth straps, stitching, knee rolls and bridles. The online shop features dressage, jumping and VZH saddles, along with saddle pads, girths, stirrups, bridles and other accessories.
