About JSAC
The Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry is an academic organization founded in 1952 to contribute to the advancement of science, technology, and culture and to the welfare of humanity. It brings together people and organizations interested in analytical chemistry and supports the field through research exchange, professional development, publications, and related activities.
The society organizes annual meetings and analytical chemistry symposia, including events that connect researchers, industry, early-career professionals, and women scientists. Its programs also include international exchange, awards, lectures, and seminars. Members and other readers can access journals and publications such as Bunseki, Analytical Chemistry, Analytical Sciences, and X-ray Structure Analysis Online.
Additional services and resources include books and DVDs, reference materials, proficiency testing, and the Analytical Chemist certification program. The society also provides job information, supports recommendations for external awards and research grants, and maintains regional branches and research groups. Through these activities, it promotes communication and learning across the analytical chemistry community while helping advance the discipline in Japan and internationally.
