J's Independent Support

J’s Independent Support is a small, Geelong-based, independent provider of person-centred NDIS disability support across Geelong and surrounding communities. Founded by Jake, an experienced support worker, the service is built around trust, consistency, genuine relationships and practical help. J’s supports plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants and is not a registered provider.

Services include community access and participation, daily living assistance, in-home respite and short-term accommodation, domestic assistance, and transport to appointments, shopping, activities and day trips. Support can be flexible, from regular visits to occasional assistance, and is tailored to each person’s goals, preferences and needs. Participants have choice over who supports them and retain control of their information.

The team also brings hands-on practical skills to everyday projects, such as minor home repairs, yard work and improving access around the home. J’s Independent Support aims to build confidence and independence while helping people stay connected to their interests and community. The provider works with support coordinators through clear service agreements, responsive communication and flexible scheduling.
