Jewish Senior Life of Metropolitan Detroit

Jewish Senior Life of Metropolitan Detroit is a nonprofit organization creating welcoming communities where older adults can feel at home, build connections, and live with dignity and purpose. Guided by Jewish values, it welcomes people of all faiths and beliefs and places residents’ well-being at the center of its work.

The organization offers independent living in West Bloomfield and Oak Park, assisted living with individualized help such as personal care, medication management, and housekeeping, and specialized memory care with round-the-clock support and enriching daily programs. Additional services and options include short-term rentals, an adult day program, and TMT Home Care. Residents can also take part in wellness and fitness activities, dining, and educational programs.

Beyond residential care, Jewish Senior Life supports community life through Jewish community chaplaincy, outreach for Holocaust survivors, volunteer opportunities, and fundraising that helps provide diverse resident programs. Its signature events celebrate older adults and community contributions, including Eight Over Eighty and the Bessie Spector Oldest Jewish Americans Celebration.
