Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law (JSW Law) is a legal education and research institution in Bhutan guided by the values of Justice, Service and Wisdom. Its mission reaches beyond teaching and learning, aiming to contribute to a just, compassionate and sustainable world. The school prepares future legal professionals and leaders through academic programs, practical experience and engagement with justice-sector issues.
JSW Law offers a five-year undergraduate LLB/PGDNL program for Bhutanese students, with study in legal doctrine, advocacy, professional responsibility, legislation, social sciences and humanities. Its graduate offerings include an LL.M for law graduates and a Master of Legal Studies for students from other fields, with specialization in climate change and environmental law. Students can gain practical experience through research, clinical work and experiential learning.
