Juckas Stables

Juckas Riding Stables is a family-owned and operated equestrian business established in 1965 in New York’s Hudson Valley. Set on 117 acres of farmland in Orange County, the stable offers a welcoming way for visitors of different ages and riding abilities to enjoy the countryside. Guided trail rides travel through shaded woods, open fields, and past lakes and streams, with experienced guides leading riders and sharing observations along the way. Gentle, well-behaved horses and attentive staff help make rides accessible to beginners as well as more experienced riders.

The stable’s offerings include seasonal foliage rides, date-night and picnic packages, pony rides, private riding lessons, clinics, horse leasing, and boarding. Families can also choose children’s summer, winter, and spring break camps, cowboy camp, or other kids’ activities. Juckas hosts pony parties, trail-ride parties, off-site events, and corporate gatherings, and offers photo shoots and cow sorting. A riding team provides another way to get involved. Guests can relax at picnic tables and visit the on-site petting zoo and barnyard animals.
