Judo club Melesse

Judo Club Melesse is a judo association based in Melesse, France, and the town’s only judo club affiliated with the French Judo Federation. It welcomes participants from the age of four and offers judo alongside Taïso, self-defence introductions and training stages. The club aims to help people flourish through sport, whether their goals are leisure, fitness and maintenance, or competition.

In 2026, the club reports 180 members, around 20 black belts, 15 departmental referees, six judokas competing in French championships, one national referee and one national sports commissioner. Membership also connects participants to Kawatokan, a group bringing together clubs in La Chapelle-des-Fougeretz, Melesse, Montgermont, Pacé, Romillé, Saint-Aubin-d’Aubigné and Saint-Grégoire. A licence with the Melesse club allows members to train in all of these towns. The club shares news about its young judokas and events, and provides information on schedules, registration, fees and contact details. Registration is open for the 2026–2027 season.
