Judo Club 56

Judo Club 56 is a Morbihan-based martial arts club centered in Vannes, with classes offered across several local communities. It welcomes children, adults, beginners, experienced practitioners and competitors, and allows members to register throughout the year. Trial sessions and introductory classes are available from the start of the season in September.

The club’s activities include judo, baby and youth judo, ju-jitsu and self-defence, Ne-Waza (ground judo), Krav Maga, and Taïso, a gentle fitness programme that includes options for adults and seniors. Children’s classes focus on confidence, concentration, respect and self-control, with age-appropriate instruction beginning at four years old. Adult judo accommodates both recreational participants and more experienced practitioners, while self-defence classes emphasize safe, practical learning.

Krav Maga instruction covers defence, combat, realistic scenarios and stress management. The club also offers Taïso sessions for gradual fitness and back-related rehabilitation needs. Classes are led by qualified instructors, and the club highlights its experienced teaching team and long-standing presence in the region.
