Judo Vereniging Ootmarsum (JVO) is a community judo club offering training in Ootmarsum for children and adults of all ages. Boys and girls can join from the age of five, and the club provides groups suited to different judoka. Alongside teaching judo, JVO emphasizes mutual respect, discipline and positive social interaction, making these values an important part of its approach to the sport.

The club offers regular judo lessons and organizes additional activities beyond training, including a camp weekend and a “smokkeltocht,” or smuggling-themed outing. Its website shares information about the association, its board and instructors, judo and lessons, competitions, activities, sponsorship and belt examinations. Visitors can also find club news, an agenda for the season, photographs and downloads, and information about joining or getting in touch.

JVO presents itself as an active association that welcomes people to the judo mat and encourages participation in both its training and community activities.
