Judo Scheveningen

JUDO Scheveningen is a local judo school serving children in The Hague and Scheveningen, with lessons held in the judo hall on Heemraadstraat. Its classes are designed for children from age four and are taught in a fun, playful way, while giving careful attention to judo technique, safe practice and respect for others. Sessions take place on Thursdays and Fridays, with groups arranged by age and experience, including an advanced class for teenagers aged 13 and over.

The school presents judo as a healthy, versatile activity that helps children develop movement skills, cooperation, discipline and confidence in physical contact. Twice a year, students can demonstrate what they have learned in a judo examination and earn a coloured slip or belt and a diploma. JUDO Scheveningen offers a free trial lesson when a place is available; families can enquire by email with the child’s name and date of birth. A jogging outfit is suitable for the trial, and judogi can be obtained through the school.
