Judoseura sakura

Judoseura Sakura is a judo club based in Kuopio, Finland, founded in 1967. The club presents judo as a skill, a source of strength, effective exercise, and an enjoyable way to learn with others. It welcomes people of different ages and experience levels, including children and adults, beginners and experienced practitioners, competitors, and recreational participants.

During the 2026–2027 season, Sakura runs six groups, offering activities for a range of abilities and goals. Its programs include an adapted judo group for participants who need additional support. For children, the club highlights judo’s potential to build self-confidence and develop physical and social skills.
