Judo vĂc neĹľ sport

Judo víc než sport, z. s. is a judo club based in the Beroun region of the Czech Republic, offering training that combines sport, movement skills, and personal development. Its programs are held mainly at local schools and community venues, making classes accessible to children who can attend after school. The club teaches school-age children foundational gymnastics and judo techniques, including safe falling, throws, and holds, while games help build agility, flexibility, strength, and endurance. Participants also learn about judo’s history, etiquette, and values.

For preschool children, the club offers sessions that involve parents, and it also welcomes adults, including those returning to judo or trying it for the first time. Children seeking more intensive training can join the competition group, attend camps and joint randori sessions, and take part in tournaments. The club reports competitive achievements including regional medals and national championship nominations. Through its Judo do škol initiative, it brings judo instruction into schools and supports both athletic progress and positive personal development.
