Judo-Club Eaux-Vives and Judo-Club Trois-Chêne are two Geneva-area clubs united by a commitment to teaching judo as both a competitive sport and a pedagogical practice. The Eaux-Vives club was founded by Pierre Ochsner in 1997 and is based in its namesake Geneva neighbourhood. The Trois-Chêne club, a section of Budo-Club Trois-Chêne, was taken over by Ochsner in 1992 and operates at the Sous-Moulin Sports Centre in Thônex. Each club trains dozens of judokas every year, with a strong emphasis on competition while recognising judo’s educational value.

The clubs offer training, schedules and registration information for both locations, and share news about events, competitions, results and training sessions. Their members take part in tournaments, with recent reports highlighting podium finishes and medals. To support learning beyond the dojo, the clubs also provide at-home exercise videos and resources on judo techniques, including immobilisation techniques and a reference guide for white and yellow belts.
