Judson Independent School District (JISD) is a well-established educational organization with a rich history and a commitment to providing high-quality education to its students. Founded on June 25, 1958, JISD was named after Moses Campbell Judson, a respected figure who championed the improvement of San Antonio's water system and advocated for strong educational institutions. Since its inception, JISD has grown significantly and now serves more than 24,000 students, making it the fourth largest school district in Bexar County.

The district offers a wide range of academic programs and extracurricular activities for students of all ages. It comprises elementary, middle, and high schools strategically located in the communities they serve, fostering a close-knit and supportive learning environment. Over the years, JISD has undergone several bond elections to accommodate its growing student population.

These bonds have funded the construction of new schools, technological upgrades, and infrastructure improvements throughout the district. JISD is proud to be fully accredited by the Texas Education Agency, ensuring that its students receive a high-quality education. With a dedicated team of educators and a focus on student success, JISD continues to shape the future and empower the next generation
