**Brand Description:**
The "Jüdische Pflegegeschichte" project focuses on Jewish nursing history in Frankfurt am Main, serving as an essential research initiative that explores the intersection of people, places, and institutions through various articles and an interactive city map. The project showcases the rich legacy of Jewish contributions to nursing and social care in the city, highlighting significant figures and historical contexts from 1870 to 1941.
Offering a comprehensive research database, the platform includes detailed biographies, institution histories, and thematic articles exploring ethical and religious foundations in nursing sciences. Users can investigate topics such as geriatric care, child nursing, and the everyday experiences of those involved in caregiving. The initiative is supported by prominent local institutions, and it features events such as seminars and interactive tours that further educate the public about the Jewish hospital system's historical significance.
Under the patronage of Frankfurt's Mayor, Mike Josef, the project aims to foster a deeper understanding of its cultural heritage and the ethical dimensions of caregiving within the framework of intercultural cooperation.
