Juin

Stichting Juin is a cultural events organisation based in Rijen, bringing people together through community-focused experiences. Its guiding idea, “For everyone, by everyone,” reflects an inclusive approach to cultural activity. The organisation’s featured event is Rijen Ruikt, an annual celebration of nature, art and culture that invites visitors to explore the area in a relaxed and engaging way.

The 24th edition is scheduled for Sunday, 14 June 2026. Visitors can follow a walking and cycling route through special gardens and inspiring locations in Rijen, Gilze and Hulten. Along the way, they can enjoy flowers and plants, music, creativity and opportunities to meet others. The 2026 theme, “Enjoying scents and colours,” celebrates the sights and fragrances of the natural world and the connections it creates. With more locations in Gilze joining the route, the event is gradually growing beyond its original Rijen focus. Through Rijen Ruikt, Stichting Juin offers a shared local experience that combines outdoor discovery with cultural enjoyment.
