Julias Alpakahof

Julias Alpakahof is an alpaca farm in Weihmichl, Germany, offering animal-assisted educational activities and guided alpaca walks. Run by Julia Höpfl, a qualified social pedagogue, the farm has provided experiences with alpacas for institutions and private individuals since 2022. Its approach invites visitors to slow down, connect with the animals, and enjoy a calm, mindful break from everyday life.

The farm’s educational sessions create opportunities for meaningful experiences between people and animals, while its walks let guests spend time outdoors alongside the alpacas. Visits are arranged by appointment, with groups limited to no more than ten participants to help keep the animals comfortable. Children and adults are accompanied and are not left alone with the alpacas. Guests may take photographs, but can feed the animals only hay or greens supplied by the farm. In heavy rain, appointments are cancelled and rescheduled. Julias Alpakahof provides a welcoming setting for individuals and groups seeking a thoughtful, animal-centered activity.
